We couldn't resist sharing our experience aboard Celebrity Silhouette earlier this year for our 2023 Marketing Conference, where innovation certainly met inspiration as we embarked on this luxurious ship.
If you’re tired of the mundane conference routine, we’d highly recommend swapping the boardroom for an ocean horizon and immersing your team in a Marketing event like no other.
For those like us, seeking a unique and transformative conference experience, travelling on board Celebrity Silhouette was the ultimate game-charger. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to elevate their marketing skills and strategies while enjoying a remarkable journey – setting a new standard for conference experiences.
We selected Celebrity Cruises to host our first-ever Marketing Conference Afloat, not only is the brand renowned for its commitment to Modern Luxury but also, for redefining travel and creating unforgettable experiences – which definitely enabled us to let our creativity and innovation set sail.
We’re very fortunate that Fred. Olsen Travel is passionate about investing in their people's growth and giving them the opportunity to experience the products we sell, and gain a better understanding to market them.
We felt that the conference enabled us to escape from the day-to-day grind, giving us some much-needed headspace to reflect on past experiences and take the time to have meaningful discussions and make informed decisions to drive our success, strategy and development within the team.
We had a truly fantastic time exploring the ship, from visiting the various decks to discovering exciting onboard activities. The trip was the perfect mix of work and pleasure, from brainstorming ideas in quiet areas on the ship such as the Library, to enjoying silent discos at the Sky Lounge in the evening!
In conclusion, not only was this a fantastic opportunity to grow as a team professionally, but on a more personal level also which we believe has had a very positive impact on the team dynamic since this trip. We were also able to significantly expand our knowledge of Celebrity Cruises and really get a feel for the product. We feel that staying informed and inspired, can make a genuine impact and drive success within our marketing activities and the business as a whole.
We’re certainly looking forward to stepping aboard again, who will host us next year… will it be you?
